Do you know of any good surf hotels in Maui or Kauai?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good surf hotels and if you do could you say the name of it or leave a link? Thanks Alot!!!

1. surf hotels? um, you can stay at any hotel and still drive to a beach to surf. it's an island...beaches are all around. well, i don't know much about surfing since im a hawaiian who doesn't surf...lol. i do know that maui has a surf spot...ho'okipa. even though i was born and raised there i can't tell you more. sorry. aloha!
2. There aren'y any 'surf hotel' per say. Ther are hotels near good surf spots. But that is about it.
3. Not sure if there are any "surf hotels", but there are hotels close to the surf where you can take off from early in the morning to get out to the beach and catch the waves. I would check the name of the town you want to stay at and then plug it into http://www.tripadvisor.com and then you can find out all the details of the hotel and what it has to offer and get reviews from other people/surfers from all over the world! I highly recommend this site when staying at a new hotel. Have a great trip! Aloha!
