Hotel or Condos Kauai?
I'm planning a trip to Kauai in April with my 2 daughters and my 2 year old grandaughter. Would like to get lodging at the low end. Any suggestions? What side of the island is the least expensive for that time of year? Doesn't need to be an ocean view. Or near the beach. Nothing too secluded.

- Try the Garden Island Inn it is accross the st from Kalapaki Bay in Lihue.. Nice , clean and inexpensive.
- My wife and I were in Kauai last November and stayed in a condo in Poipu Beach called Waikomo Stream Villas organized through Grantham Estates. You might like to search and contact them. It was only a short walk to the beach. They have a number of condos and homes for rental. If you search on line, you will find a number of accommodations to suit your budget. Best of luck. Mr. C. H.
- You are so lucky, I love Hawaii it's soooooo beautiful! There are a few hotels off the beach, that are affordable. You may want to also look into renting a condo or a home for the week, at times, it can be less pricey.
