Kauai Fun Vacations

Honeymoon Travel Question - Flights to Hawaii?

I thought some of you brides might know... How can I get the lowest price on a round-trip flight from Nashville, Tennessee to Kauai (less than $800)? We need to leave on July 8th and come back on the 22nd, and we can leave any time of day going there and coming back. I have been checking Expedia, Travelocity, CheapFlights, Priceline, etc for the past few weeks... Any other ideas? Thank you for your help!!

  1. Another great site is hotwire, especially since you have flexibility. With hotwire, you will not know what carrier and your specific travel times you have until your purchase your tickets (which is why the can offer such a great deal). I have used hotwire before when my travel was flexible and got great deals. You can also check their sister site Orbitz. We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon too and know how expensive tickets can be. We purchased our roundtrip tickets from Detroit to Honolulu at Travelocity for around $800. I did a preliminary search for you on hotwire and they have some ticket prices for around $690 if you leave on July 9th. You may have 1 stop, but not more than that.
  2. Do you know any one who works for an airline? I got tickets for my trip to Maui for free because my mom works for World Wide Flight Services and gets free tickets every year. You can also try Ebay.com or any other Auction sites. We were planning on going back in a couple of years and I found that on price line you can get a round trip, hotel included 14 days, 13 nights for $1700.
  3. Use kayak.com I have consistently gotten the best deals from Hon to Mainland via this site. They check every airline site at once and give you a breakdown of the best deals. They also show a graph of the prices from the last 90 days so that you can compare and see if there were better deals in the past.
  4. hotwire yahoo travels You just have to check the websites for the best deals..sorry to say you are going at the worst time because its summer vacation time.
